Inspired by Islamic and democratic values, AWEVSO promotes a society free from poverty, discrimination, and injustice.
AWEVSO's mission is to work alongside vulnerable communities to reduce poverty, improve livelihoods, and promote sustainable change through educational, vocational, humanitarian, health, and social development programs — particularly for women, children, orphans, and poor households in Kabul, Kunduz, Samangan, Bamyan, and Logar.
We respect and promote the rights, dignity, and equal opportunities of all individuals, particularly vulnerable and marginalized groups.
We are committed to promoting gender equality and supporting women and girls to participate actively in social and economic development.
We respect cultural traditions and religious values while ensuring our programs are implemented with fairness and inclusion.
We maintain high standards of integrity and transparency in our programs, financial management, and relationships with partners and beneficiaries.
We encourage active participation of communities in planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs to strengthen ownership and sustainability.
We are dedicated to strengthening the capacity, skills, and opportunities of vulnerable people — especially women, girls, and children.
